Hari Krishna ashram in Andalucia Spain: Sound and pictures

I visited a Hare krishna type of Commune in Pizzara in Andalucia in Spain.

They are a charity which helps people locally and in India. The Guru is Spanish, he is cherished by the members, and he is teaching the Bhagavad Gita, in Spanish.

In the morning they sing and dance, and on this morning the Guru came and spoke, so I recorded some of it on my phone. these sound bites are here to capture the flavour, more than, actually understand.

The Guru was saying the mind is like the wind, and it needs to be brought under control with intelligence.

They also have an office with computers etcetera.

This commune has grown very large in a short space of time.

There is a strong sense of devotion inculcated.

The rules of the commune are abstinence from sexual behaviour.

The food is vegetarian and very healthy.

They get up at 4.30 am and chant.

Most of the individuals have lived very different lives in the past: Indulging their senses.
